Since we established ourselves in 2019, Aider has been a slightly different company. Not just because the industry needs a challenger, but because we actually believe that being different can be a strength.

Since day one, our foremost mantra has been "people first". You could call it the very core of Aider.


It's because we believe that our industry is ultimately more about people than numbers. But it's also about the fact that people's unique perspectives are important to us as an organization.


Our whole project is based on the idea that values are best created in community. And communities simply work better when we are a little different - when we have different strengths and approaches.


We're not concerned with diversity as decoration - we rely on different experiences, perspectives and opinions. And we love the energy that comes when these come together.



Energy and enthusiasm


That's why our second mantra is just that: energy and excitement. The energy that is unleashed in rich, diverse collaboration. The excitement people feel when they can be fully themselves - no matter who they love or what they identify as.


Isn't that what pride is all about?


So when we raise the rainbow flag this month, it's more than just a nice logo change and some nice words. It's a celebration and a reminder - also to ourselves - that this is how we actually are. Whether it's June or November.
