Since we established Aider in 2019, we’ve aimed to be a slightly different kind of company. Not just because the industry needs a challenger, but because we believe that being different is a strength.
From day one, our guiding principle has been “people first”. It’s at the core of Aider.
We believe our industry is ultimately more about people than numbers. And we know that different perspectives make us stronger as a company.
Our work is built on the idea that value is created together. Communities work best when people bring different strengths, experiences, and ways of thinking.
We don’t treat diversity as decoration. We rely on different experiences, perspectives, and opinions, and we value the energy that comes when they meet.
That’s why our second principle is energy and enthusiasm: the energy that comes from strong collaboration, and the enthusiasm people feel when they can be fully themselves, no matter who they love or how they identify.
Isn’t that what Pride is about?
So when we raise the rainbow flag this month, it’s more than a logo change and a few nice words. It’s both a celebration and a reminder, also to ourselves, of who we are. In June and in November.
