Meet Jonas - Assistant Manager in Copenhagen
Jonas has been part of Baker Tilly (now Aider) since October 1, 2020, and is a great example of the international opportunities we can offer our employees. On a daily basis, he works as an Assistant Manager in our audit department, advising clients on accounting, reporting and business development. In 2024, Jonas took an exciting step in his career when he traveled to Australia to work for six months with our partner Pitcher Partners. Here he had the opportunity to experience a completely new work culture, develop his professional skills and build international relationships. Jonas says: "My time in Australia has both strengthened my personal and professional development and given me international experience that I now use in my work with our Danish customers. It's an experience I will never forget". We look forward to following his further journey in Baker Tilly.
Meet Amanda - Tax Consultant in Copenhagen
Amanda has been with Baker Tilly (now Aider) since December 1, 2022, and she is a great example of the development opportunities we can offer our employees. On a daily basis, Amanda works in our tax department, where she collaborates with 14 colleagues to advise clients on all aspects of tax. She started as a Junior Tax Intern and has since become a permanent Tax Consultant. "I started as a Junior Tax Intern in the tax department, where I had the opportunity to learn from and contribute to various tax cases alongside my Master of Laws studies. After graduating in February 2024, I was offered a full-time position as a Tax Consultant, where I can use my skills and develop even more within tax law and consulting," says Amanda. We are very pleased with Amanda's commitment to Baker Tilly and we look forward to following her continued development.
Meet Mikkel - Accounting and Digitization Consultant in Odense
Mikkel began his journey at Baker Tilly (now Aider) in May 2019 and has since been working in our Digitalization department. Here he collaborates with nine talented colleagues across our offices to create efficient workflows, reduce manual tasks and much more using digital solutions. Since joining Baker Tilly, Mikkel has strived for both professional and personal development, which he has experienced at Baker Tilly. He started in Business Services but has since moved to Digitalization, and this has been an enriching journey where he has been able to develop his skills. Mikkel emphasizes that he enjoys the culture at Baker Tilly - a culture with a flat structure that allows for collaboration and sparring at all levels, from junior to partner. He also appreciates the flexibility he experiences at Baker Tilly, which allows him to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
Meet Lars - Audit Assistant Manager in Odense
Lars joined Baker Tilly (now Aider) in September 2019 as an Assistant in the audit, after a handball career, where he simultaneously trained as a cand.merc.aud. Today, Lars works with his own customers and solves tasks within auditing, accounting, tax and lots of exciting advisory tasks. Lars quotes: "My experience as a handball player and my journey as an accountant at Baker Tilly has led me to where I am today.
